Day 5: Results

A good day was had by all.  It was sunny for the majority of the day, and with a little searching we were able to find a lot of untouched powder.

Can everyone else send over their pictures so that I can add them to the gallery please?

Day 4: Results

What a day!  The big dump of snow we got in town sure translated to a fair amount of powder up in the mountains.  We unloaded on Taylor Creek at the first junction and rode from there.  Seeing as there is active logging in the area, the road up was great due to recent plowing.  Once we got past the logging areas, the rest of the road up to the trail head was a dream with about 1′ of powder at least.  The entry into the trail head looked fairly well covered, but there was a lot of dangers below with all the rocks and stumps.  A few attacks at it to miss the obstacles and we all got up.

Winding through the trees to the cabin was quick and easy.  Once there, the whole area must have been covered in about 2′ of powder.  It snowed / rained the majority of the day and the there was some fog which caused some issues with the goggles, but other than that the riding was really good.  A few of us punched our way up to the little lake just below the radio tower, but stopped there as the others has some difficulties getting up. We spent the rest of the time just playing in the cut blocks around the cabin area.

All in all, a good day was had by everyone.

I know there is more pictures out there!  Send them over…
