It always sucks when the avalanches happen. I had the opportunity to ride with John A. this weekend on one of his fleet of snowmobiles, but decided I had better not risk further arm injury and declined. Probably a good thing to stay off the mountain when the possiblity of avalanche is so high.

if your interested i might be headed out nelson side of park. more open medows. less TREES and hills. went up last sunday and the first 3-4 km is a skating rink. we parked at the bottom and rode up. at around 8-10 k we hit enough snow to forget about over heating but it gets bumpy!after that it was un touched cutblock after cutblock. we were the only ones up there. didnt see any tracks from sat either…. let me know if your interested might be me my dad, brother, neighbor, and 3-4 other guys from my group. hopefully we get some snow here soon to cover our tracks.
