Sunday’s ride at Hunters

We had an awesome ride at Hunters today. Snow was great with lots of powder, most of the meadows were all untouched, and the visibility was quite good up until about 2pm when some freezing rain blew in. The measuring stick at the main chalet only shows 3′ however it sure seems deeper than that when you step off the sled.

We unloaded at about 8km up the Ashton Road. Quite a few people went a bit farther up but the snow was fairly wet and when packed it become rediculously slippery. Not sure what happened but there was a truck that must have slipped off the road and got himself stuck pretty bad. Fortunately there was a lot of people there to help out.

Ended up only being 4 riders today however we met up with a few others up at the main chalet.

Not many pictures to show.
