TAG | Hunters Range
The weather forecast is actually starting to look promising. Calling for snow tonight and tommorow, and one report shows sun on Sunday so it might turn out to be a decent day after all.
Meeting time will be 7:30 at the Tim Hortons by Walmart.
As of thursday here is the tentative riders list:
Brad G. – confirmed
Jason G. – maybe but not confirmed
Co-workers of Jason G. – confirmed
Jason G.’s neighbor – confirmed
Jason R. – not confirmed
Brian H. – not confirmed (waiting on trailing arm & shock)
Duell T. – confirmed but maybe not because of Brian H.’s issue.
Rob B. – maybe but not confirmed
If any responses come in from others wanting to join the group I will keep them posted here.
According to the weather network they are claiming snow is on the way over the next few days. If it actually happens it will make for a nice ride on the weekend. Unfortunately however the report shows sunday’s weather is going to be Cloudy with scattered flurries which means we could be in for another miserable day. Still a gamble though as those bastards at the weather station never seem to get it right.
We currently only have 2 people wanting to ride Sunday and 0 for Saturday.
If you want to ride either day and want the email broadcast out to help generate a group let me know. You can send emails to rides@snowride.ca
Hunters Range – Saturday Nov. 14th
Update from the group who went Saturday:
(Brad G. Jason G. as well as some co-workers of Jason)
Brad phoned and said the snow was awesome. Lots of new fresh snow and I guess they spent a fair amount of time digging each other out. They went up the Cooke Creek side and were breaking new trail the whole way. Never made it far enough to reach either cabin though.
Here is some pictures that were taken during the ride:
